Pray for: The Tech & Worship Team
Beyond the Sunday preaching of God's Word, our Worship and Tech ministries form the heartbeat of New City's service experience. We give thanks to the Lord for calling gifted individuals to these vital roles—those who lead our congregation in worship through music and those who support our church's mission through their technical expertise. While these ministries often require practical skills—mastering musical arrangements, operating sophisticated equipment, and solving technical challenges—we pray that their true strength would come not from technical proficiency alone, but from a deep delight in the Lord.
Let us pray, asking that:
Their ministries would flourish from the overflow of their relationship with Christ
Their talents would be multiplied for Kingdom impact
New members would be called to join the Tech and Worship ministries
Their behind-the-scenes faithfulness would bear abundant fruit in the church and in their own lives
Example Prayer:
God,
We praise You for who You are and what You have done for us. We thank You that Your glory surpasses our comprehension, compelling our hearts to worship. We are grateful for the men and women You have called to serve in the Tech and Worship ministries of New City Church. Thank You for their hearts that respond to Your salvation through service, and for the gifts and skills You have bestowed upon them to honor Your majesty.
Lord, we pray that these faithful servants would never lose sight of their calling. May they be a people who continually behold Your glory and find their deepest delight in You first. Let their service flow naturally from this delight.
Father, we ask that You would draw more people into these ministries, for Your glory deserves to be proclaimed through many voices and supported by many hands. Expand these teams according to Your perfect will.
Finally, we pray that New City Church would truly be a place where Your name is exalted in true worship—where every chord played, every sound balanced, every visual displayed, and every lyric projected would direct hearts toward You in reverence and awe.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
