Pray for: Young Lives Ministries

YoungLives Ministries is a partner ministry of New City that supports young teen moms by offering mentorship, resources, and the hope of the Gospel. This ministry provides a safe space for young women to find support, build confidence, and grow in their faith as they navigate the challenges of motherhood. Here’s how you can pray:

• Pray for the teen moms who are a part of this ministry to feel empowered and cared for during this season of their lives.

•  Pray that as physical needs are met for these teen moms and children, that they would see the love of Christ and choose to follow him. 

• Pray for the volunteers and staff who are serving diligently to have endurance and lean on Christ consistently.

Example Prayer:

Father God,
You are a loving and faithful Father. You provide for our every need. You promise to never leave us nor forsake us.

Lord, I confess that I often don't care for those in need as I should. And when I am in need, I often doubt that You will provide for me.

Thank You, God, for YoungLives Ministries and how they have been used to care for young mothers and children in the area. I pray that You would continue to use them mightily to provide for both the physical and spiritual needs of these young mothers.

I ask that You would use them to offer the hope of Jesus in all difficult circumstances. I pray that many of these young moms and children would come to know You.

Lord, be with the volunteers—help them to be a light in the darkness. Give them endurance and a deep burden for teen moms and their children. Strengthen them as they serve You faithfully.

Lord, call out more volunteers with a heart to be Your hands and feet in the community.
