Throughout Judges we seek a cycle take place with the nation of Israel. We seek the people rebel and because of their rebellion, God disciplines his people.
Through this discipline the people of God cry out to GOd and He delivers them through an appointed judge. This judge brings peace to the nation of Israel and eventually the leader dies.
The cycle starts over again and we see this throughout the entire book of Judges.
