Pray for: 4 College Ministry Residents
This past fall, we launched our college ministry on campus at USF, and we are thrilled by the growth we have seen so far. However, Luke 10:2 always rings true—the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Join us in asking the Lord to bless our ministry with laborers by praying for these things specifically:
Pray that we would have 4 College Ministry Residents on our staff for the 2025–2026 school year.
Pray for provision for these residents as they seek to raise financial support for their residencies.
Pray that these residents would have a deep desire to see the lost saved—that they would take ownership of their part in reaching the campus to reach the world.
Example Prayer:
Lord,
You have been so good to us. You have been so faithful to bless our efforts thus far on the campus of USF. You deserve all the glory, honor, and praise for anything and everything that is done through New City College.
I confess that I sometimes fear the campus is too large to possibly make a dent in the vast amount of lostness that is present. Would you remind me, in my doubt, that salvation is yours alone? Help me to remember that you have a plan for New City College specifically, and that we will reach those whom you have ordained for us to reach.
Thank you for the opportunity to labor for your kingdom among the thousands of college students here in Tampa. Thank you for bringing the nations right to our door and allowing us to have a voice in the lives of many from across the globe. I pray that we would steward this gift in a way that honors you above all else.
God, I pray that we would have 4 College Ministry Residents join our staff before the start of the summer. I ask that you would work in the hearts of those who might be considering a residency and help them to trust your plan for their lives—whatever that might be. I pray that the residents who join our New City College team would love You more than anything else, and that they would have a deep desire to see salvation and revival across the college campus. Give me this same deep longing for the students at USF.
Lord, you are our Provider—you are Jehovah Jireh! I ask that each resident who raises financial support would taste and see that you are good, and that you are their personal Provider. Would you ensure that, by the start of the fall semester, each resident is fully funded and ready to step onto the campus with confidence that you go behind and before them?
We trust you, Lord, and we know that in all things, you are good. Thank you for who you are and what you’ve done for us.
We love you.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
